Welcome to the...

Every other month we’ll be choosing a book from the Vespertine library to read and discuss. All books will be available in store and on our website! We’ll check in every month to discuss ideas and ask questions.

Each read will be focused on topics relating to Vespertine's message of lifelong sexual wellness and we will explore ideas like body positivity, sexual health and self care.

Taylor originally conceptualized The Body Is Not An Apology in 2011 as a movement on Facebook, and by 2014 it had morphed into an online magazine. Today Taylor speaks globally, giving lectures and workshops that spread her message of “radical self love”, body empowerment and how to utilize these fundamental tools for global social justice and transformation.

This book explores our ingrained relationship with body shame and guilt and how we can start to unlearn the teachings that have told us to change our bodies to feel better. Taylor offers the perspective of not just accepting, but loving your body for everything it is.

Our first book club meet up is coming soon...
