Maya Horrocks, Peninsula Midwives

Maya Horrocks, Peninsula Midwives

Licensed Midwife in Port Townsend offering midwifery care and homebirth services to Jefferson County as well as East Clallam and North Kitsap. Being pregnant and giving birth are a normal physiological event and simultaneously hugely transformative life experience for all involved. In addition to the clinical aspect of care, Maya emphasizes supporting the pregnant person in their overall health, pregnancy, birth and postpartum goals and needs. As a midwife, Maya knows that sexual and reproductive health are deeply intertwined, thus this aspect deserves to be tended to and addressed during this time.

This looks like- thorough informed decision conversations, emphasis on body autonomy, an empathetic listening ear, recommendations for herbs or supplements for common complaints or concerns, a voluptuous lending library and fabulous list of community referrals when needed/desired.
